The commands below you type into the chat window in the same place you type messages. The "/" in front of them tells the chat that the message is a command, not a message.

How to register:

If you want to register the name you use (so no-one else can use it), while in chat, type the following and hit enter, substituting the password and email-address with your own choices:

/ns register password email-address

This will register the current nickname you are using. Do NOT type your chat name in that command! Lots of people make this mistake. If you get an error, this is the mistake you're making.

How to log-in after registering:

When you connect to chat in the future and wish to log in,
make sure you're using the same name you registered with and type:

/ns identify password

substituting your password in the above command.

Note: The slash "/" in these commands must be the first character on the line. Don't type any spaces before it!

How to do an action:

/me smiles

If your chat nickname was "Bill" and you did the above, people would see "* Bill smiles".

How to change your chat name:

/nick newname

How to chat to one person:

Double-click on their name in the user list on the right-hand side. A new tab will open at the top of the chat window.

Who to ask for help with the chat:

Inside the chat, double-click on "Currawong" in the user list on the right-hand side. A new tab will open with which you can chat directly with Amos.
