Part VI
CONVERSATIONS WITH THE LORD JESUS
In my own evaluation of my paranormal experiences in these deep states of prayer and meditation that I had entered into, I realized that I had been given a gift from God. I was permitted to glimpse reality beyond the scope of vision which was seen by most of mankind. It was as if I was cheating on the test of life itself. As the many questions began to form in my mind as to why these sacred mysteries were being revealed to me, and not to others, in a flash I was shown the answer. First I saw that because of the accomplishments of my soul in previous lives with regard to opening the inner doors of the mind, I fortunately inherited the genetics of my soul. To express this truth in modern terms: Because in other lives I had been there, and done that, it was much easier for the person I was in this present life to do it again.

THE PARADOX OF MIND AND REALITY
Coming Into The Presence of the Being of Light
As I developed my affirmations, prayers, meditation and contemplation, the Light that I saw myself immersed in became stronger and more overpowering. The more I prayed and meditated in the Light, the more it seemed the Light engulfed me -- to where it appeared that I could taste, smell and touch the Light, in addition to seeing and hearing what the Light was beginning to convey to me. Soon I craved my time in the Light -- and I began to understand the scriptural edict to “Be still, and know that I am God” (Ps 46:10 KJV), as indicating the stilling of my own thoughts and mind so I could hear the “…still small voice” of the Lord (1 Kings 19:12 KJV).

THE OBSTACLES
If, then, I was to begin my quest in the search of truth, I had to come to terms with the fact that I was confronting the unknown, and my own lack of knowledge was the greatest obstacle in the equation. It was difficult, but I had to come to terms with the fact that I was the cause of my own self-imposed ignorance. In the realization that the answers I sought were supernatural, and lay beyond the physical, for the first time I began to truly believe what the Bible literally stated throughout both the New and Old Testaments -- i.e., the scriptures are a great deal more than what they appear to be on the surface, and deep within its historical narrative, it cloaks the keys to understanding the path to God and the answers to life.

THE PROCESS
It seemed that I had no sooner asked the question, when an impression popped into my head. Evangelical Christians who believe in the Holy Spirit as an active principle in the life of the genuine believer would call this impression that seemed to just be implanted in my mind a “word of knowledge.” When I posed the question, immediately the biblical story of Jacob and the angel came to mind. As I opened my mind, the unfolding of the story appeared to me very clearly. “That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two maidservants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak” (Gen 32:22-24 NIV).

Part II
Prove All Things
For nearly two thousand years Christians have condemned the Jews for “killing Christ”. Yet the Apostle Paul writes that, as vessels created for dishonor, the Jews who killed Christ were born into this life for this very purpose -- i.e., to reject and crucify Christ. Further, the Bible clearly teaches that the Jews who rejected Christ were controlled by supernatural forces acting upon their minds, and their rejection of Jesus was brought about because their hearts and minds were hardened by God. In other words, God planned the whole thing as a staged event -- from the rejection of Christ, right through to the crucifixion. From a biblical perspective, it was as if the Jews have been condemned as Christ killers because of the role that God chose for them to play on the eternal stage of life. Regardless of what modern Christians choose to believe in order to soften the written word of the scriptures, what the Bible very clearly states is that the hearts of the Jews and those who opposed Christ were hardened by God to force them to live out the role of apostate sinner -- and then, in accordance with our very incomplete understanding of the scriptures, God found fault with them because they performed in accordance with the will of God, and lived the role that God appointed for them.
