Spiritual Marriage

Within the Divine Pattern of Marriage lies the secrets to overcoming man's own divided nature -- i.e., both the division within himself with respect to his soul and spiritual natures, and ultimately man's division with God. Jesus taught that the Kingdom will never come upon the earth so as to be seen, because it is within you (Luke 17:20-21). Thus, the problem and great dilemma! In order to enter this inner Kingdom, man must re-merge his own divided masculine and feminine natures as portrayed in the biblical account of Adam and Eve -- re-enter Eden through the purification of the body/mind and eat the fruit of the Tree of Life -- and then use this Sacred Knowledge to open the inner door to the Kingdom as depicted in the words of Jesus when he said: "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in

In the same way that we could not even begin to define woman apart from man, we cannot even begin to understand the spiritual meaning and potential of sex apart from the spiritual center which is opposite the reproductive center in the head of man. Further, we must also comprehend the purpose of these centers in the Design and Pattern of God. While the Eastern religions and the traditional Gnostics were consumed in focusing on the upper-most spiritual spheres in the head of man -- looking for ecstatic and enlightened visions -- while abstaining and denying the lower nature of man, what they failed to realize is that the upper centers are controlled by their opposite. What this means is that while they could diminish their physical presence in this world by denying the lower spiritual centers of the body in the endeavor to achieve visions in their meditation and spiritual disciplines, the results were not the same as those achieved by the Hebrew holy men and women who were able to raise up the lower centers by engaging them within a Divinely Ordained Marriage -- thereby causing the upper to be One with the lower, giving birth to the Son of God within the disciple in search of Truth.

In the beginning God was -- and all that has been brought into existence has been through the Laws of the Most High -- i.e., the Divine Pattern -- the DNA of Creation -- and the very Form and Essence of the All that Exists. To understand the Laws of Creation, then, is to begin to comprehend the Divine Blue Print of all that has come to be throughout all time from the beginning, to the end -- thus, the Alpha and the Omega.

The great truth that the Bible continually conveys is that in the same way that man and woman are to become "one flesh", we must in like manner become the faithful spouse of our inner self -- and eventually the Light of our Heavenly Father God.
